The Marquis Pub and Kitchen

Finally tried the Marquis (munch box) for the first time after wanting to go since they opened. I have got to say it did not disappoint, the food was amazing and fresh with some lovely flavours. We had the Korean grilled cheese and Korean rice. We had a 45 minute wait due to them being busy with orders but it was worth waiting for. All the staff was lovely and helpful with any questions we had regarding the food. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We placed our order on the phone and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes time, which seemed unrealistic, and it was. Once we arrived at the pub we had to wait an extra 20 minutes. We would rather have been told a more realistic time to collect in the first place so there would have been no waiting involved. 35 minutes is still a short time to wait and we wouldn’t have minded that at all.We got the dad box and really enjoyed it. The food came out of the kitchen hot and fresh. We shared it between two and still couldn’t finish it, so great value for money really. All the food was delicious, but a bit spicy so bear that in mind.

Blown away with the portion sizes and the quality and taste of the food was great.This was for a 60th birthday, unfortunately we had some of the guests cancel due to the snow but it wasn’t an issue for the staff.Great service and we are going back for Pie Night.Only one thing is that with the Tea’s & Coffee’s, it would be nice to have fresh milk/cream and not UHT.Thanks again for a lovely night.

Took the wife, nephew and niece for some incredible grub. Two boxes was too much for two adults and two teenagers but I ate my fair share and finished the Dad Box with the nephew. The girls had the jerk box and was too much for them. An item missing from one box which was reported and rectified in minutes. Great food and service. The smash burgers are the best I have tasted and certainly the best locally. We will be back soon. Highly recommended

We had a meal lastnight for 11 people the place was really busy and had a private function on, the food came out altogether even though we ordered separate it was all hot and tasted amazing! We will definitely be booking our family meals here again. Thank you :-)

So I've been watching dad the dish videos for a long time and his food always looks amazing when I see they started doing the boxes here , I had to get myself down to try them out . Knowing it would be popular, I called ahead of time and spoke to a lady on the phone who took my order. she talked me through the menu of the big boxes and I chose " the mums box" . The drive took me about 30 mins to get there and it was just the right time considering I ordered ahead. I waited a couple mins while my food was being dished up. it was a nice atmosphere, air con and seemed like a really nice place.i got my food and OMG I COULDN'T WAIT TO TUCK IN!!!!!!! (I got a box to go)I found a nice spot to park up and eat and straight away you're hit with a mouthful of flavours and combinations you might not have had . The first thing I had was a parmesan tatatot and wow! from there I had the katsu chicken grilled cheese!!!!! when I say this food was next level , I genuinely mean it! it's nice to find a place that does take away that doesn't taste like everything else, boring and leaves you underwhelmed! I give massive recommendations for this place and the food! I will 100% be going back for another box. I think the Dad box this time oh I should mention I'm eating leftovers while I type this review it's 10:50am taste is still there and I will probably end up going back today thankyou for filling my heart with joy and my belly with food see you guys again very soon
